This year’s Super Bowl included all sorts of commercials featuring dogs. One Volkswagen spot told the story of a dog motivated to lose weight in order to chase the new Beetle. Fortunately the much larger version of the dog wasn’t played by an unhealthy stunt double, but by a fat suit. Imagine that. It made me smile. Check out this video about the making of the commercial.

And the final spot – without the Star Wars part at the end (I never liked that part). This was probably my favorite of this year’s dog commercials.



But the kid in me would have to say my favorite commercial from this year’s game was probably the M&Ms spot.



And this has to be one of my favorite commercials including a dog of all time.
