Got to spend some time with my family the last few days. It was so nice having everyone home and together.

Since my sister lives in California – we aren’t able to see each other as much as I’d like. So it was great to be at home and introduce my 2.5-year-old niece Hazel to many of the places where my sister and I used to play as kids.

Hazel played with my sister’s old phone that she used when we were little. Don’t think Hazel had ever seen a rotary phone before. She had fun with that. She has a great imagination.

My Mom got Hazel a cute shirt. Love it!

We played in the creek where Mary-Catherine and I used to spend hours exploring. I think these waters are magic. Hazel thought so too.

There was fishing.

Pretending.

Dog training. Of course!

Walks outside.

Stories with Grammy.

Great food.

Just hanging out.

And having lots of fun.

I already miss them and can’t wait for the next visit.
